Lynn Edmonds was President of LW Robbins (now RobbinsKersten Direct ‘RKD’) for 14 years and is now serving as a Strategic Consultant to RKD and other non-profit organizations.. She is a nationally recognized industry leader who has developed innovative fundraising programs for scores of nonprofit organizations during her career. She joined LW Robbins in 1999 as Executive Vice President and became President in 2001. Under her leadership, LW Robbins provided results-driven strategic development and analysis, and creative and production services to more than 50 nonprofit clients.
For more than three decades, Lynn and her teams have worked with organizations such as the American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Association, Bright Focus Foundation (Alzheimer’s Disease Research, Glaucoma Disease Research, Macular Degeneration Research), Catholic Relief Services, Coast Guard Foundation, Consumer’s Union, Covenant House, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, MAP International, National Audubon Society, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Special Olympics, St. Labre Indian School, UN Refugee Agency, Vietnam Veterans Memorial Foundation, Washington National Cathedral and more than 40 regional food banks.
Lynn has received many industry awards recognizing her outstanding achievements during her career: the 2014 George T. Holloway Award for distinguished service in Catholic fundraising by the National Catholic Development Council; the DMA Nonprofit Federation 2013 Max L. Hart Nonprofit Achievement Award; the 2012 DMFA Marketer of the Year Award; and In 2010 she received the Fundraising Success Lifetime Achievement Award and the New England Direct Marketing Association Direct Marketer of the Year Award. All these awards pay tribute to her many accomplishments and her deep commitment to the fundraising community during her 35-plus year career.
A hands-on fundraiser and leader, Lynn is deeply involved in the direct response fundraising community. She was a board member of ADRFCO, NCDC and the DMEF and has served on the Advisory Board of Fundraising Success Magazine. She served as Co-Chair of the DMA Nonprofit Federation 2009 New York Nonprofit Conference and is a frequent speaker at fundraising and direct marketing conferences nationwide.
Prior to joining LW Robbins, Lynn served as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Epsilon’s Fundraising and Membership Services division.  She attended the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
